April 25, 2018

AMARILLO, Texas — RVing in Texas will feature a trip to what’s been rated as Texas’ No. 1 steak house. One of the state’s best-known tourist destinations lies right on famous Route 66 in Amarillo. Serving rattlesnake, calf fries and menu items you’ll not find in your typical steakhouse, the Big Texan has been satisfying appetites since 1960.

Can customers really get a FREE 72-ounce Steak Dinner with all the trimmings at the Big Texan? Yes. But there is a catch! We’ll talk about it tonight on RVing in Texas at 8 p.m. CT.
The show will also take a look at the Winnebago Micro Minnie 1700BH. It’s one of the most popular entry-level travel trailers for first time buyers and young families. RV S a.m. RV Sam (from DeMontrond RV) will tell us why it’s one of his favorite RVs in the fleet.

RVing in Texas highlights people, places and things that are available for those who RV in the Lone Star State; mixed with great music and a Texas flare.

Last week’s debut of RVing in Texas resulted in 50 percent more viewers than its companion program, The RV Show USA!
